This is my final piece of the CD Cover Project, I used Photoshop CS3 to change the look of the original picture of me which I took myself. I altered the colour, added noise and other effects to make the cover what it is today. Then using fonts from www.dafont.com and invented the band name 'NOISE' and the album name 'The Noise' because of the noise effect I've added to the original. The back of the CD cover I used craquelure to get the current effect on the original picture of a garage door. Then using www.dafont.com again, I added my track list keeping the same font as the album name. I also added a barcode to keep an authentic CD look. The font I used for the band name, I think, depicts the band as a rock/punk/techno based band, which is the look I was aiming for.
